  1. Short hop in the Spitfire testing chaseplane in the fantastic ORBX scenery
  2. I still haven't gotten around to getting stuck into practicing the take off roll in the P-51. I need some hours on that before a make a video! Either that or find a runway that curves to the left! Very tempted to get Popham. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Not something you see every day but thought I had been away from the beautiful Highlands of Scotland for too long!
  4. Great vid Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Missing the beautiful Island so thought I would take a flight there... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I've not tried it, but from what I have seen I think I am happy to stick with FSX and the small fortune I have invested in addons to make it a different sim to out of the box. Maybe in time FSW will be spot on, and I might start building up my addon library for that, but in the meantime it just doesn't look like the whole new sim I was probably foolishly waiting for. 7. Thanks Iain!
  8. The ORBX scenery looks great in this flight over Malta in a Spitfire...
  9. Having discovered ORBX and A2A a couple of years ago, and having spent a small fortune since buying paywear addons, I can't imagine going to this new version and starting again. Not only would I feel like I was throwing money away, I'd be in constant fear of the other half discovering that I don't have a gambling habit, just an addiction to rebuilding my sim up again! 10. Ditto! Bought almost all of UK and once I had gotten over the novelty of identifying places I knew (which didn't last long!) I was struck with the flatness of it all and, as you say, below 500 ft it was abysmal. Investing in some ORBX scenery totally revolutionised my sim and although I can't spot my street, at least there is a better feel of landscape and buildings/vegetation. 11. Fantastic! Love how you can make simming so realistic! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks Scott. My first time down that way but I think I might be revisiting! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Thought I would fly a cross country hop and take whatever weather nature had presented at that moment! Also wanted to fly a route I hadn't done before. Fantastic ORBX scenery really brings it all to life.
  14. Thanks sir! Yes love the Milviz Baron. Nice aircraft to fly and a great tourer. I'm afraid that there wan't much finesse in the flying on this one. I would say it was more about feeling out the aircraft and 'expeditious repositioning' than smoothness. Yes that approach was a shocker....didn't mean to get quite that low but engines so instantly responsive its easy to manage the energy and not end up dangling the dunlops in the drink. 15. Hi all, wanted to test fly my new Milviz Baron but also see what my ORBX scenery now looked like with Pilots FS Global 2010 installed and thought Gibraltar would make a nice little hop!
