  1. Fantastic images and what a beauty that DC-3 is. Fantastic repaint on it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks! Lol yes he is quite talkative, especially at the start! I put it down to nerves! I am experimenting with it at the moment but you can deselect what you want him to monitor/give tips on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. New video trying out the gorgeous Sumburgh scenery with an instructor on board and a stab at that offset ILS on Rwy27!
  4. The more I fly this aircraft the more I love it. With the ORBX scenery enhancements it feels very realistic. "Hold on to your hats boys" My first wish is that there was a more modern panel, similar to that in the Buffalo Airways DC-3, that could be selected to use with this repaint. My other wish is that the same team produce the C-46. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I was genuinely amazed and how better it is than the payware!! I envy you for getting so close to these beautiful birds! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Have fun! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Hi Rob, I've worked my way through the series that are available on Netflix (1 and 2 in the UK) and now bought the downloads from the publisher for season 3. Fantastic program that got me hunting out a good DC-3. This repaint of Manfred Jahn's C-47 http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?101539-Douglas_C-47_V3-12_Beta-zip is available at http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?101665-Douglas-C-47-V3-Buffalo-Airways-C-GJKM-zip I downloaded the demo of the DC-3 from Justflight but Manfred's is freeware and in my opinion better than the payware. The voiced checklist is as great feature and adds to the immersion for me. Sorry, more info than you asked for but thought might be useful for anyone else interested, like I was, in getting a good DC-3/C-47 Cheers, Rob
  8. Thanks Rob, First time I have used 'bob' but definitely a good way of appreciating the ORBX scenery. Love that Cherokee!
  9. Completely in love with this PAVD scenery. Wanted to show the contrast between two seasons. The colours in summer are incredible. Think I might forget cross country for a while and just practice circuits here!
  10. Hi Sherm, you guys will know the checks and procedures inside out so apologies for inaccuracies! The voice check list is a great idea and one I intend to get to grips with. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. This aircraft really is stunning. Can't believe it is freeware! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Hi all, A short hop in my newly aquired C-47 (disguised as DC-3) in the beautiful Openlc North American frozen wilderness!
  13. Hi Mikee, Ah you are lucky to live in such a beautiful country! Great place to fly also with that mixture of coastal, flat and mountainous areas. Paradise!
  14. Thanks for the link Ken. That does look like a huge improvement for sure. I am not specifically interested in flying around Gib as such, it's more as Adam suggested, to use it as a great 'lumpy' way of testing what FS Global 2010 does to the shape of the scenery. Aerosoft does make a massive improvement. I love the Larnaca X addon they produced, might be tempted to get Gib if I ever find myself needing a base down in those parts.
  15. ok so I went to "The Rock" and here are some images of Gibralter. Not sure if this would be covered by the Open LC Europe pack by the way but I have it so that might effect the land class compared to normal. Otherwise it is just Global Base and Vector with HD Trees (Rex 4 working the textures on the airport and water but this is really about the mesh and topography)
