The FTX Australia SP4.002 patch is now available for download. This patch mainly addresses an issue with customers who are upgrading from the original FTX Australia SP2 DVD and finding that FTX Central does not work correctly. This was due to certain work files being ommitted from the SP4 patch.

This is a cumulative patch, meaning that all previous FTX Australia patches are included in this release, and you only need to install this SP4.002 patch to be up-to-date with FTX Australia (all regions).

John, thanks for this cumulative patch. But am I correct, that this patch is not necessary if one have installed all previous patches and do NOT have the FTX Central problem? Or are beside this other minor fixes?

Hi Otto,

this patch replaces all previous patches and adds several updates for some glitches that where reported.

So yes it's an update advised is to install it and then the latest libraries last ;)

hi all, just a question to the SP4 and the patch 002, I have SP3 and I could not find out what is the major improvements or difference with the SP4, is it worth it to pay AUS55 on flightsimstore? Is there an upgrade package from SP3 to SP4?

Yes, the SP4.002 patch is the 'upgrade package' :)

Just install it over your SP3 and you'll be all set.

When installing this patch,unless otherwise noted in the installer.Where does/should FTX Central be set,Default/Australia or PNW?.I sure don't want any bloopers installing this patch.

Yes, install this 002 patch. 'Cumulative' generally means it combines the previous patches released before it.

There is no specific requirement for FTX Central to be set to any region to install this patch. If there was, we would explicitly say so.
