I think he just means that normally there is a "scenery will likely be released in the next couple days" thread to give folks a final heads up. Not saying that is always needed or is any kind of requirement, but I was a little surprised when it released myself.

Oh. Well Iain did make a post W52 Final Cut in which Alex stated one shouldnt wait too long. Not an official announcement but there was a heads up on it. With only about 3 weeks to go and 7 more products we could almost expect to see 2 products a week. Not that is the case but just an example that if you plan on prepaying you might want to do it soon cause they should start rolling out soonish right about now.

I was only surprised about the release today.
In the past you could allways find an announcement here
one or two days before the release.
I couldn´t prepay every of the the 8 upcoming products,
so i find it is a nice gesture to remember that you should place your order(if you can).

Wow... because it is one of those smaller airport addons I expected a small scenery. But I just took the Ultralight for a short flight around and I noticed that river to the south of W52, which is recreated very nicely. Using the top down view and the pdf I managed to find the beginning of it in the east and follow it west. When I thought I had reached the end I went to the top down view again and compared where I was with the pdf and I wasn't even NEAR half way... That river goes on for a long, long time! It took me a LOT longer to reach the part where it ends in the swamps (or whatever) and all along the way there was a lot of detail (parked cars, big buildings, etc).
This addon offers a LOT more then I expected! And I have to say that little river (or should I say creek) is very nice: great for following it very low with the Ultralight. Awesome. I'll post some pics in the screenshot forum soon because maybe some people would completely miss that river, not expecting this addon to be this big.

We are not going to announce "short finals" for these releases. They will be released when they are done. If you want to save 15% then pre-pay as soon as you can, since the others could be released anytime.

This is an awesome airport. I spent most of my evening last night flying and walking round W52 and it's really well done. I'm really enjoying flying round the area. The food from the BBQ was tasty as well
