Hi Guys,

Here is Patch 1.1 for KBVS Skagit Regional Airport. This is only a small patch which fixes a few issues that were reported by users.

Fixed:
- Elevation issues some customers were having
- Some shadow issues
- Other minor fixes

Added:
- Static aircraft

Does this patch allow users to have the OZx San Juan freeware airports installed without issues?

I hope it fixes a previous issue,being a little more frame rate friendly for those of us that have lower ended machines.74S is one of the other fields as well.

I have a question. My question is, does this particular patch have any effect on the landscape textures that surround KBVS near the airport? The reason I ask this is because after I downloaded and installed this new patch, i decided to jump into my trusty FSX Owen Hewitt's Bell 206 and do a flight over the area close to the airport and immediately I noticed that the landscape looked slightly different than it did previously. I was also wondering if this patch also had an effect at all on 74S Anacortes as well? Perhaps someone here at FTX could explain that to me, that is, if there is an explanation for it.

Hi,

It should not have any effect. There were only a couple of files modified and none of them had to do with any landscape files. What do you notice that is different?

Well, it seemed to me that the vegetation looked pretty much the same, but the streets, roads and highways seemed to look better and more improved from up above as I was flying over them. Maybe its just my imagination, I don't know.

Thanks for this update. Static aircraft look better and I didn't seem to have the crash issue over the threshold of the runway.

I just downloaded the above patch for KBVS.First though.I opend FTX Central to look at all the products I have installed.My current KBVS is currently showing it to be Version 1.1,dated January 2012.

Does the above version replace the version 1.1 I already have?.
